joan pujol-creus photographer

I was born in 1977 in Centelles, and I studied Image and sound in Barcelona. Since then I have been working as a photographer in local press and I have published reports in magazines like "País Semanal" and the "La Vanguardia Magazine", "Descobrir Catalunya", "Sonntagsblick magazine" and "Historia National Geographic" among others. In 2003 I got a scholarship for the "7 Encuentro de fotoperiodismo de Gijon" and an INJUVE prize. In 2004 I obtained a scholarship of the Photography seminary and journalism of Albarracin. Between 2005 and 2008 I have received several mentions, for example: "Premi ciutat de Vic", "7 Premi de fotogafia Caixa Terrassa"... Right now I combine my work in the studio with the elaboration of reports and personal photography projects.

On 2010 I got a fellowship of the Ministry of Culture at the College of Spain in Paris. During 4 months I was working in the project Light and color in Paris.
